Riya has been a part of Mayur Dance Academy since 2006. Throughout her dance journey, she has performed in numerous shows in the DMV area (plus India) and has spent a brief semester teaching as well. Riya finds the intricacies of Odissi choreography captivating, and appreciates the challenges that come with learning new dance pieces. Beyond the dance floor, Riya enjoys reading, hiking, and exploring the diverse culinary scene DC has to offer.
